ABOUT REBECCA

Rebecca got hooked on Musical Theatre when she was 8 years old when she went to see ‘Les Miserables’ at The Adelaide Festival Theatre. With a little body but a great big voice, she was back at the Adelaide Festival theatre a few years later performing as a munchkin in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and also in the kids ensemble for State Opera’s ‘Turandot' and 'La Boheme.’ Years later after garnering a BA in Music Theatre from the Ballarat Arts Academy, (Now Federation University) she scored her dream job, performing as a Lead Vocalist onboard Grand Class Cruise Ships and travelled the world. On board these vessels she’s had the pleasure of performing in State of The Art Production Shows produced by the likes of Danny Teeson and Stephen Schwartz. She sings Pop, Rock, Opera, Musical Theatre and Jazz. Her one woman show ‘From Judy Garland to Carole King’ displays a variety of these styles, along with her album ‘I Just Might,’ released in 2019. Rebecca based herself in New York for a number of years and studied with world renowned vocal coach and author of ‘The Singing Athlete,' Andrew M Byrne. She now resides in beautiful Albury NSW where she enjoys teaching singing and piano to kids and adults.

Her debut album ‘I Just Might,’ features songs by Michael Jackson, Sting, Dolly Parton, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and the Gershwin Brothers. Recorded in both NYC and Melbourne, it features delightful arrangements by David Pearl (Piano), Noriko Ueda (Bass) and Dwayne 'Cook' Broadnax (Drums.) You can download / hear a sample on this website or check out her album on Spotify, Youtube and Apple Music.
